[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was hoping that the wildflowers would be out by now as we toured the National Monument yesterday, but the only flowers that were opened were Monkey Flowers, the Indian Paintbrush were just beginning to open, and the Anemonie were also just opening, so I thought that as the flowers would not blossom, that I would post an image of this massive crater that blossomed one day in 1980 on May18th.

Gorgeous landscape Steven,
Love the snow capped peaks and valleys and all the features of this beautiful place. Excellent detail and exposure, great natural colors!! Well done! TFS.

So where did you take this shot from? I've been looking at trail books, and as soon as I can get back hiking hope to do some up there late this summer. Love the clarity you've achieved here, and the dark blue sky, well done.
