[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One last shot for my series of the Opsrey nest.
In this chase scene the one in front turned and slowed way down and they crashed and both fell in the water. When they came out of the water the chase was back on. Thanks for looking

Very seldom do we see such an action picture with birds, more if prey birds and even more with ospreys. That's a great catch, Tom, really beautiful and fantastic. The light is superb and the small ripple on the water create a dynamic touch. Thank you!

Hi Tom!

Very nice contrast and details in the shot. You captured a very interesting moment of this action. I like their self shadows too. TFS!

Best regards,
Andor

You certainly nailed the action in this shot, Tom. I like the outstretched wings and fanned tail. One would think a crash landing in water would bend and batter fragile wings and bones but I guess they were none the worse for wear. Exposure and focus look really good.

Hi Tom,
I saw the Osprey myself, but never managed to get good photos. Especially as good as this one. The frozen action is beautiful. I love how the one on the right is able to fly and look over its shoulder. The warm colors are wonderful and the lake looks almost like a ballroom floor.
TFS,
Niek
