The title "Finally" is referring back to my last posting. "finally" I got the whole family (grizzly sow with triplets) together in one shot, and at least mom looked up briefly. See workshop photo for the more usual pose. : )
One can see the relative sizes of the cubs compared to mom. The three cubs varied quite a bit in size also. All looked fat and healthy.

It looks like I lost a bit of resolution in resizing, resharpening etc. I should have gone back to the original but I am lazy on occasion. : P

Hi Evelynn
Just marking for now.

Wow! this is just super and you know why...I know you know...it is the bear dead centered and looking dead at me/you. that there makes it above all an extreme eye grabber...forget any of the rest, even though it is technically very good etc...but this look in the eye and the centering..that makes it!

Hi Evelynn,
Great bear content. Quite bearish;-). No idea what these two to the right are manufacturing:-)
Mom is fat too, I see:-)

Hello Evelynn,
How lovely to see the family complete (father missing, of course!) I like your timing with the mother looking straight at you probably feeling a bit worried. Fine details, lovely light and colours too.
TFS and regards, Ulla

Hi Evelynn.
Wonderful shot of grizzly family. Pictured scene is fine. I like great exposure, nice framing of the image, impressive 3D-effect and nice combination of sharp FG and main scene and pleasant light blurriness of the BG. My best regards and TFS.

Hello Evelynn,
A fine capture of a Grizzly family with excellent light management in the sunlit snow with pretty good sharpness despite some loss of resolution after cropping.
TFS this image that reflects what must have been a wonderful experience,

Hi Evelynn

Magnificent grouping - the poses are brilliant - well worth the wait!

hello Evelynn

excellent shot, in French for this kind of photographys
we say « photo prise sur le vif » i don't kno the english translation,
i love the Mommy bear's eye-contact with you, TFS

Hi Evelynn,
Wow, the whole family!
Were you close to this family?. When I fell on my grizzly (20 feet) in the Yukon, it took me 45 seconds to put my camera on my tripod so that I was shaking. The composition is well done and the eye contact of one grizzly is a plus for the picture.

Hi Evelynn

Congratulations for this shot! It's really a superb one!
As some photographers are inclined to human family shots, you could start a new era here: animal family shots :) Why not? :)

Seriously now, your wait was well worth it here and the outcome is more than lovely!
The pose of the mother is gorgeous and the direct eye-contact is terrific, enhancing the mood of your shot.
The natural look of the babies - totally unbothered by your presence - also adds to the charm of this image.
Overall, a wonderful work!

Bravo and TFS

PS: sorry to hear you aren't a fan of such traveling...we would have really loved to have you on that meeting with us next year.

Hi Evelynn!

Thank you for the extended interpretation of my last posting and your thoughts about the situation on TN. I'm sure the sunny weather will come back again...

I like your bear-family very much. This is living nature! And it certainly must be impressive to observe them so close. Did they invite you for the pic-nic?

Kind regards

the image is good clarity, natural colour and superb details here
well done and TFS

Great - were you lucky to get to see these grizzlies, or are they fairly easy to see where you live? Anyway, lovely shot, though I think ypou've just been spotted. It must take a steady nerve to be hotographing this sort of beast!

Hi Evelynn, Very fine group photo of these beautiful beasts. Better to see them through the zoom than too close up i imagine. Good DOF. tfs. Murray.
