Death Valley is a valley in California, and is the location of the lowest elevation in North America at -282 feet (-86 meters). Located southeast of the Sierra Nevada range in the Great Basin and the Mojave Desert, it comprises much of Death Valley National Park. It has an area of about 3,000 square miles (~7,800 km²

Dante's View, at 5,475 feet at the crest of the Black Mountains, is one of the most famous photographic spots in Death Valley. Dante's looks almost straight down on the lowest point in North America, Badwater, and across the sparkling salt flats of Death Valley to Telescope Peak in the Panamints and the Sierra Mountains 100 miles to the west.

It's an old one and it can be seen. Nevertheless the light is just wonderful and so is your point of view. Nice depth, which is further emphasized by the rock in the foreground.
