| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This photo was taken at the Dean's Creek Elk Preserve which is the home of the Roosevelt Elks, just outside Reedsport, Oregon. It was close to sundown with the sun alluminating all the colors of Fall in 2005.
I was taking the a photo of the elder elk, when I noticed the two young bucks in the background "playing" and the elder elk was making sounds as though he were "coaching" them. I am not well versed in the day to day living of these majestic animals, I just know they are beautiful.
