This little flower was in a woodland meadow at Johnson's Mound Forest Preserve. It was right before sunset and the light was hitting the meadow nicely.

Hi Nick,
Some beautiful flowers. The late day light is nice and soft here. Not sure on the ID, but I use www.illinoiswildflowers.info/ to help identify ones that I take. I usually have no clue, so I have to look them up.

Hi Scott,

A pretty flower, looks like False Rue Anemone, Isopyrum biternatum, can't be sure though as I can't see the leaves very well.

Just a bit soft, I think a shorter shutter speed might have helped.
