[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
If you have seen my previous posts, you know that we have been besieged with billions of cecadas this year. However, at the very same time large numbers of catepillars have been munching on the tree foliage as well. This extreme closeup was actually sparcely populated compaired to the rest of the tree (look for future posts. There had to have been well over 1000 crawling up the single tree looking for a snack and a place to transform.

Hello Hubert,
This is really an interesting picture. I just wonder how the tree looked after the passage of all these hungry creatures. Funny to see that even human being had put a nail in this poor tree. I'm looking forward for future posts Thank's and best regards
