[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Well time came when we had to bid farewell to the Alabama Hills and all the memories they invoked previous post. With this shot I'll leave California behind and start a new series when we return from a two week trip we are taking to Montana. Take care and Happy Shooting. : )

Hi Evelyn

I really like the colours and silhouette here - very moody. A beautiful shot.

I am off to Poland for the w/e and then a long w/e in Scotland after that. Have a great time in Montana.

James

Hi Evelynn,
First, have a wonderfull trip to Montana. Don't forget to visit Running Eagle falls.
This is a wonderful closure to a beautiful series of Alabama hills. Its not the kind of area I would visit, but seeing your photos does make it interesting.
A wonderful sunset with some really nice pastel colors.I love the jagged shapes of the rock formation in the FG and the fact that they are totally black. Especially since the mountains behind it have a nice dark blue tone.
TFS,
Niek

Hi Evelynn,
A beautiful sky of pastel colors. Clouds add a nice texture.
Looking forward to the MOntana scenery!
Scott

Your my heroine...

While I may not get to be there, I get to have a full experience through your trained and talented eyes. Everything you do turns to Technicolor.

Bob

Wow Evelynn do you ever rest??? A bit too much silhouetted blackness if anything but otherwise a lovely "parting shot".

Hi Evelynn

I really like the shot, it is very beautiful. I love the colours but find the foreground a little too heavy... I think a touch more cropped off would have worked a touch better. I was wondering what mm would were on an whether you could have pulled out a touch more to include more of the sky?

Hi Evelynn.
Very beautiful once more. Like a painting. I like the simplicity her. Nothing to distract. Just a lovely sky and beautiful silhouettes. Very lovely, well done.
Best regards, Steve.

Hi Evelyn,

Nice colours and line of horizon. Simply and beauty sunset. Bravo and Best regards, Cezar T.

Hello Evelynn,
Always sad to bid a farewell to a place you can easily become fond of, but then that's the beauty of cameras you can bring back those memories and share them with with others like us unfortunate people that dont get the chance to be thar in those dang darn 'Alabamy Hills'. Thanks for sharing this wonderful shot. :)
