Gabi
His "smile" is really a hiss. Almost stumbled over the little guy, but he started hissing loudly at about 1.5 metres away. Astounding how well camouflaged they are ... or how blind homo sapiens can be at times. I like the dry grass in front of his nostrils, looks ticklish to me. Enjoy!

Hello Gabi, this is a wonderfull shot, cheer,
Pat
Hello Gabi,
Normally I would say the grassess are distracting, but in this case the add more than they distract.
I'm glad he did start hissing before you came to near because otherwise.......pfffffffffff.....I don't want to know.
Sharpness, details and exposure are extremely good.
Perfect work.
Thanks for sharing.
Warm regards and have a great weekend,
Harry

Very nice capture...Outstanding POV with nice color and detail...Alligators are becoming a common sight around the Galveston area, showing up in ditches and front yards...Larger ones can be quite aggressive and should be given a wide berth as they can move incredibly fast...A fine photo...Well done...TFS

Excellent capture Gabi,
Clear and sharp, very nice color and exposure. These yellow gators are the rare exception, and have a more difficult time of surviving to adulthood as I understand it..
Wonderful detail, Very well done.
Howard
Good gator portrait Gabi.
The POV is great as well as the color and lighting.
Greetings,
Richard
