Breathtakingly beautiful! The softness of the fog, the stillness of the water, the graceful curves all lend themselves to a peaceful, beautiful scene.
Great notes too! :)

Oh yes, many a scene like this on the West Coast here. Tricky to get right at times to be able to put that feeling you have being out in it into the image.
You did well, lovely scene with the hills and trees amongst the mist down into the foreground. Great exposure with wonderful detail and feel of the elements.

I too share your love for the mountains, I don't know what it is about them to me its like they are giving me a big hug , I feel so comforted when I'm engulfed in Mountains so very glad when I get to return to my homeland in Vermont several times a year. This is a beatuiful shot, I love the fog in all the layers of the hills there. Beautiful natural color saturation and contrasts. TFS

A majestic shot fit to be hanged on a wall. Superb colours here and the low hanging mist gives a fantastic effect. The calm atmosphere is very well depicted and the chill in the air seems so refreshing to me. Excellent POV to capture the scenic beauty, it must a wonderful place to be visiting. Very nicely composed. Kudos.
Hola Sr. Roberto. Una muy hermosa fotografia. Me inspira quietud y tranquilidad al observarla detenidamente. Me agradan sus colores tanto del bosque como de las montaņas con su niebla. Saludos Roberto. Luis52.
Bella nota tambien.

Hi. We're back and I'm starting to browse the TN galleries. This is a nice shot Bob. I like the feel of it, with the fog and the flood. Nice work.

If I say Its a picture, then it is a picture. If I say it is a creation of a painter then its a painting. And yes, it is a creation. May be the horizon is little bit tilted and the foreground grass tried to break the dream, still you grabbed the frame created by the greatest painter. You know that because the note is the evidence.

A fine contrast between the brilliant greens and the background mist and fog.
These are the photos I really enjoy. The mood in these kind of photos is always great. Especially when it suits a landscape like this.
I do feel that with such a high shutter speed a lower ISO number would have been better, it would have given the photo less grain. I haven't read the thread on the horizon yet, but it does look to be tilted to the right. Anyway, its a photo of a wonderful landscape.
It's six o'clock in the morning, I have just arrived at my office and as I did during the last days or since I am on TrekNature I steal a couple of minutes to check if there are any critiques or interesting new pictures.
I'm particularly touched by your notes. As often I can I'm in "my" mountains and I know how you feel when you describe your emotions and the details of the day passed in this wonderful valley. What touched me even more are the words you have chosen (although my English is very limited) in combination of the expression of the picture you show us. Both match perfectly, and I'm as well impressed by the quality and sensitiveness of your text as by the melancholic and very emotional expression of your picture. I please to say that "bad" weather does not exist, there's only weather and different moods and mental states. And being outside in our nature and the happiness, peace and energy this causes and all the memories it awakes does not depend on the weather. I also believe that a wonderful grey and rainy sky with all the variations of grey is much more attractive than a monotone blue sky. And there's another advantage: most of the time the place you visit or the mountain you climb on a rainy day belongs to you... Loneliness in the mountains does not mean to be anti social or to be sectionally, but to return to our sources and to feel the mystic side of our life.
Thank you very much for having shared your emotions with us!
... and sorry for my English, I tried my best...
