[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Said, can get too close for comfort for either of us. Caught this on a fishing pier (pun intended) and they are not at all afraid of humans there. Took it with my Kodak before we purchased our "better" camera. Cleaned up his bill - was cold so he was all hunkered down aqnd had been fluffing his feathers to help with warmth - sharpened, highlights/midtones to darken background and bring out some feathering, curves to bring up the yellow, cropped, resized, usm and upload! Hope you enjoy!!

Wow, extremely close up! How amazing eye! I really like this photo but I just wish there where a tiny bit more sharpness on the plumage... have you tried to sharpen it a bit?
