[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Yesterday morning, this Mourning Dove showed up to give a good morning in that cloudy morning.

The number of individual Mourning Doves is estimated by Birdlife International to be approximately 130 million. The large population, as well as its vast range, are the reasons why the Mourning Dove is considered to be of least concern, meaning that the species is not at immediate risk.[2] As a gamebird, the Mourning Dove is well-managed, with roughly 45 million shot by hunters each year.[6] There is some evidence of a decline in western areas of its range.[14]

The species does very well in areas altered by humans. As settlers and immigrants cleared the forests that once blanketed much of North America and started growing crops, new habitats for the Mourning Dove opened up.[4] It is one of the most common birds in North America.

Hello Everton,

Wonderful shot. Very good POV and focus. Colours are great. Well done,

Hi Everton,
A beautiful capture of the m. dove!
I like very much the clear image, DOF and exposure settings.
The blurred background works terrific, and I like a lot the composition made along the diagonal.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
My best regards,

Hi Everton,
What a splendid capture of the little Mourning Dove. I love the sharp details of the plumage and the eye and the lovely colours. Fine contrasting background and well composed.
Many thanks, Ulla

Nice capture... the soft focused abstract background adds nicely to this composition.

I used to live in Chandler yet don't recall ever seeing this species, but that is probably because I wasn't paying attention. I do know there is an incredible number of bird species in the Phoenix area. From childhood I've always called this a Turtle Dove. Don't know if that is a legitimate name or not.

I've seen a lot of birders with some pretty nice equipment taking pictures at Boyce Thompson Arboretum up near Superior, AZ. You ever take pictures there?

Hi Everton,
Very pleasing shot of this dove.
You acheived excellent color and good focus detail.
The eyering color is especially nice.
Good pov and comp., TFS

Hello Everton,
Very good photo og this Dove. Great natural colours and excellent POV. Good detailed focus and composition.

Hi Everton, lovely Dove with splendid colors, good details and great sharpness, very well done, ciao Silvio

Olá Everton,
Mais um belo e delicado pássaro!
A nitidez que você consegue é algo impressionante!
Gosto desse enquadramento; o BG "esvoaçado" realçou a definição do primeiro plano.
Como sempre... muito bem feito!

Hi Everton,
this is very nice portraite of dove. I think I can see you on its eye. Great details and focus. POV, composition and of course informative notes very nice. Thanks a lot. best wishes my friend

Bien captada y acertado encuadre con un excelente fondo. Creo que le falta un poco de luz ya que por ejemplo el ojo hubiese mejorado bastante. Un saludo Everton y muchas gracias por tus amables comentarios:

Hi Everton.
I like this charming bird and very nice scene. It reflect the calmness of the bird and its beauty greatly. I also like perfect framing and composition, excellent details of the stub and dove, amazing smooth and neutral BG. May be it would be better more sharp image but I see light conditions were so poor. My best wishes and thanks.
