Nice shot Angie. You caught him at just the right moment. The wind must have been blowing hard there too. It looks like the feeder was swinging in the wind. It would be great if you could get a shot of the buck shaking the feeder. How cool would that be?

I agree that this is probably a Sparrow, and a fine one at that!
Its plumage and colouring are very nice.
You've great timing to capture this guy with a seed in its mouth.

Yor right. It is a female white-crowned sparrow. A beautiful action shot from this bird. And she is polite, she is not talking to me (-: Nice colors. POV and BG are good. Only your DOF could be better. Greetings and TFS BOB

You are a GENEROUS being; even from far away in Calgary I can see & "feel" your kindness. Am so glad I met you.
You have 'captured' a GREAT moment in time.
Male or female, sparrow or not .... who cares...
THIS IS A MAGNIFICIENT IMAGE.

I think the birds really appreciate the easy food they can find during wintertime and in particular cold days when so much of energy is used to maintain body temperature!
This little fellow for sure looks healthy...
Nice details in this well composed presentation!
