I must say that I like that kind of places. Peaceful mountains are great even on cloudy days. Good sharpness and composition. I like also the mood created by sky.

You should work as a touristic guide: looking at your pictures and listening to your words makes you feel like getting your shoes (if you wear any, I don't) and leave for a hiking tour. Moreover, the nature and the mountains you show us in your simple, yet very pleasant picture complete the friendly invitation.

Hello Bob,
Impressive view of this valley with the low clouds in the distance and the fine light on the field in the foreground. Nice contrasts and I like the pine branch on the right framing the view. It looks very wild and beatuful!

Hi Bob,

A beautiful scene! I love the green trees and the snow still on the mountains. It reminds me of Frisco CO where my son lived (the next town is Breckinridge). He used to say summer was from sometime after July 4th until August 30th. Superb composition.

You truly live in a beautiful area. My time in Washington was passing through the Airport in Seattle on my way to S. Korea. They have the best USO I have ever visited. I did get to see what I think was Mt. Rainier on the flight into Seattle. This is a great mountain scene. I hope we get to see it again from the same spot in a couple months.

I'm really sorry you didn't have a superb weather here...as i'm sure you are as well...but i would have loved to have seen this view on a great sunny and haze-free day.
But even so, i can appreciate the depth in this scene and the beautiful areas around you.

Nice landscape, Bob!
Despite the gold mines nearby, the only signs of human interference here is the partial clearance of forest. Nice to see the pine needles on the edge: it completes the perspective to the mountain in the BG.

a lovely wide open view with an immense feeling of space...i have to travel far to North West Scotland to get anything close to wilderness in my country.
