hi sam,
very nice picture,details and quality is perfect.I feel if you had gone parallel to the subject you could have got sharper image(in the left wing)..
i feel this is a very tight composition..(have you cropped it too much? )

Hi Sam,
absolutely superb shot of a Skipper. Composition, background, sharpness, light, DOF all is perfect. For once, a species with the name "communis" is not European (Linné used this nomination a lot, and the Americans started describing their fauna later).

hello sam,
this skipper has been shot with good pov but improper dof spoils the show, the sharpness is poor, the wings look over exposed and the bg looks quite grainy,
better luck next time,
