|I've searched and searched trying to find out what this flower is but can't find it. It seems to resemble Siberian Miner's lettuce, but this one has 6 petals and all the photos I've found of the Miner's lettuce shows 5. Any ideas?|

Conclusion 1 : It's not Miner's letuce (6 versus 5 petals tells that clear).
Conclusion 2: Most common plants group with 6 petals are Lily family. Yet they don't have sepals (I can't decide upon your picture if this flower has sepals or not)
Variant: Some plants of the Caryophyllaceae family may have 6 petals and sepals too, however they also have lots of stamens(could be 6, could be 10 or more).
Maybe this will help you to come closer with identification. Try to use the shape and other proprieties of the leaves too, if you can remember how they look.
