Hello Tom,

You must be pleased with this! It is a great shot of a huron in flight.
The details of its outstretched wings and streamlined body are very good.
The dof is well chosen as it isolates the bird from its b/g very nicely.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Great shot Tom!

Hi Tom

Great in-flight shot. Good composition and sharpness.

Super shot, excellent detail and clarity, good DOF. Colors are beautiful and well saturated. Lovely composition.

One of these days I am going to master the art of photographing birds in flight. Until then, I have to wait for them to sit still, lol.

Well done and TFS, Mish

Another great image Tom,
You have done a terrific job of capturing this beautiful bird in-flight for all to view.

You certainly must grab all you can when you get a good chance as this time Tom. In this pose there seems to be more clarity and colour but perhaps it is just the angle. I know this means that more than one image is good for comparison..At times it might seem tedious to others, but strictly for comparison it is a very good deal...almost a story-boarding technique done in public.

Well done. I get a shot at Herons occasionaly, this one is great. I have a Sigma 50-500 as well, heavy beast.

Well, Tom, I'm not sure what I can add that Bev, Mish, Bob and the rest haven't already told you. It truly does amount to superb POV, great sharpness, nice lighting, adroit composition. Gotta love it :)
