Re-posting this large Grizzly found wandering around the east side of Yellowstone National Park... beautiful animal! I adjusted the brightness a bit (original was very dark - not sure why), made the image as large as I could on this site, and framed it in; thanks for the feedback and critiques, folks!

Hi Kelly,
I sure wish that I can get an opportunity such as this one to get me a capture of just such an animal,it will happen sometime but for now I'm content to have a gander at your image. This image even with the added brightness still does look to be on the dark side and I think that being side lit with a strong back ground light along with f/10 setting for the aperture all contributed to it being dark.Reducing the shutter speed or the f/stop to say f/8 or even f/5.6 would of given the exposure that you were looking for those things or the more difficult move to put you between the sun and bear, not that safe to sure also would of gave you a more bright and better exposure.I like this one and thank you sharing it with us.It gets me that with so many views no one has said anything about this photo until now.Bob
