[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This fellow lifted off the pond in a park I walk through about each day. He circled the pond gaining height, and giving me time to get to a place with my camera where I could shoot him without trees nor power lines. He circled more than I've seen them circle before, must have been posing. These white pelicans are totally white when on the water of land, but when flying, they reveal black feathers. |

Hello Carl,
Very nice in-flight capture, you can see good detail in the wings and the color looks very natural! These are such beautiful birds, and you have shown this one well!
Ron
Carl,
Good wing span shot. I like the light through the wings. The position of the bird in the frame is good. You have left room to the right for it to fly into.
Nice catch.

Hi Carl,
Good sharpness and detail of this bird in flight with. Taken at the right time to get the light correct with space to fly into. Well seen.
