Out of all the big birds the Bald Eagle is my favorite. I have been spending a lot of time the last couple weeks around 9 different Eagles 6 juveniles and 3 adults.
Its amazing how such a large bird of this size thread's his way throw thick wooded areas and striking its prey on the forest floor. I have been able to get pretty up and close to some (12 to 15 feet) and in the wild they are very cool to watch there behavior. I have posted a couple shots in the work shop that didn't turn out too good but I like the action in them. Thanks for looking, Hope your having a good week.

Hello Tom,
Fantastic photo of one of my favorites too. You've photographed this young from a perfect low POV. The beak is already very impressive. Beautiful natural colours and excellent sharpness and details. Very good DOF and composition.

Hello Tom !
I love Bald Eagles, I have seen them only once, some years ago, but I remember perfectly well how impressive they are. The one on your picture looks very majestic, with proud pose and sharp look. The details are excellent, and I also like the natural colors, the composition, the POV, the blurred BG. The WS pictures are interesting, too - nice action pictures. Very well done !

Beautiful pose Tom,
I love the angle you got, it shows the eagle off very well!!
Extremely sharp detail with wonderful coloration in it's plumage. Great job!!

I truly hope you are enjoying things over there...and I see you have been busy at the areas you like to haunt...dang...I wish I could just say a prayer and get my youth back...but since I cannot, I can be thankful that younger and more talented photographer such as you are doing well...it almost hurts me to see such a good image..I feel like a horse chomping at the bit but the gate is closed...just too good Tom. I admire your work and your persistence!

Hello TOM,

The low POV you hace chosen was very inspired. Due to the excelent sharpness of the image the bird can be very well seen. There are excelent details of body and plumage that can be observed. You also have had good eye contact and rendered well the expresion of the bird.

Thank you for sharing,
