[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As I passed by a tree on my property while bringing my dog back from his walk, I spotted this Cedar Waxwing. They are often seen together, especially when looking for food. An interesting fact I just discovered is that fruit-bearing shrubs and trees are essential to their survival.

This one I've named Glutton - for obvious reasons!

Hi Kathy,
This is awesome with great timing. Excellent details, POV & sharpness. I like this photograph in toto. TFS

Kathy,

What a handsome, gluttonous bird! The colors are very natural in this shot. The bright red of the berries and the yellow tips in the wings are a nice contrast to the muted tone of the sky. Good sharpness on the bird and branch. I like the catchlight in the eye.

Thanks for sharing!

Hola Kathy.
You have a wonderful photo of this "Chinito" (his name in Spanish) Do You know tha some times they get drunk eating fermented food?
Nice colours and the food on beack makes it even better.

Hallo Kathy
This is a special image, not just because of the cute pose you captured this bird in, but also because of the great colours, great composition, cute subject and overall splendid presentation. The light captured in the bird's eye, rounds of this splendid image to its best. I really found much pleasure in looking at Glutton with its yellow tipped tailpiece. Lovely photography.
Best regards
Anna

Nice picture of the beautiful bird. Nice moment, I like sharpness, light and colors. The species is rather rare in our country, but this year a lot of these birds appeared in our region.

Hi Kathy,

What a great capture of this beautiful Cedar Waxwing biting off more then he can chew. Superb colours and detail, excellent POV, and well separated from the OOF background, lovely work, all the best,

Cheers Rick :)
