Because the Leica has no LCD, not only cannot I focus or see what I get, but I have no idea what day this was taken...so I try to write the day down now the old fashioned way. With the quality I am never surprised at the Leica. It was well worth the extra dollars.

A way back I had taken an image of this hive of paper wasps while it still was in the tree high above, but on this day a little over a week ago, I was somewhat surprised to see it lying in the driveway where cars travel and yet not damaged.

I'm sure many are not afraid of bees nor their homes..I am allergic so this seemed to be a safe shot but I do already see many wasps and yellow hackets on the slightly warmer days...There is nothing in any season which can stop all things..ice and snow can stop my car...and me. Too hot is ok because my car has air conditioing..but this day I was on foot..and outside of the fact I could not see what I was doing,. my guide dog Leica led me the way...

Hello neighbor,
You sure get some dandy images for not being able to see what your taking. I would say your mighty lucky that these guys were not home to greet you.
I'm always amazed at the perfect geometric patterns whenever I view these types of hives. I say it's the result of an intelligent designer, what do you think Bob? TFS.

Hi Bob:) i'll BEE careful:) you can sure! a wonderful job by paper wasps and you of course. The way of light used very effective by you here. A fantastic side lighting...
TFS and cheers,

Thats a good sized paper wasp nest there Bob.
Not a wasp in sight though.
Those cell will still hatch out though,so be cafreul where you put it.
I left a few old paper wasp nests on my garage windowsill once and returned to find the garage full of wasps!
Cheers & TFS

Hola Sr. Bob.
Your photo remind me what happend last weekend when we were attack by Honeybees. My wife went to remove the trash and they really get angry for that, they bit 4 of my friends. We had to run insaide of the house and stay there for a two hours until they went away.
Nobody get really hurt, but it was funn too.
Nice photo. Love the way they can build their homes.
