[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Northern Rough-winged Swallow (Stelgidopteryx serripennis)

This Swallow was high in the tree in the front yard of my mother's. It was the first time that I could photograph a swallow that wasn't flying around.

"Rough-winged" refers to the serrated edge feathers on the wing of this bird; this feature would only be apparent when holding this bird.

Hi Everton.
Nice shot of young sparrow. We have different species. I like precise exposure and excellent reproduction of the bird's feathers as well as all other attractive details. Lights, blue sky are also great. Best regards and TFS.

Hi Everton,

I have only seen a swallow here once - I think I'll visit your mother:-) A fantastic shot of this one posing so nicely on the branch. Excellent details of his face, eye and feathers. A nice simple composition.
