|I walked outside a few mintues ago, and looked over to see this huge spider, i instantly went to grab the camera. Too me the way this spider was acting like it was going to die sooner or later, it was slow, and spider this kind (around my area) are usually very afraid of humans/bigger objects that move or attack them. Well this one as you can see neared me and sat there, it got closer to the edge because i barely touch its body, and it raised its fangs and front legs at me trying to attack. It looked like it was very old and was trying to find somewhere to die or something, but it was pretty odd, but yet amazing that it just let me take shots as close as these too it without even showing that it knew i was there.|

Love the blue mandibles, very good detail, cute pose!
These are really funny spiders to watch as they jump from one thing to another.
I took a photo of one last year and it had lime green mandibles. Mine wouldn't sit still at all, so maybe your right about something being wrong with this particular one. TFS.
