|Mono Lake is located in the high Sierras in eastern California, near the small town of Lee Vining, and a favorite destination of photographers.|
About 20 miles north of Mono Lake is the ghost town of Bodie, another great destination for photographers.
When at Mono Lake in the summer be prepared to encounter millions of black flies.

Stunning landscape, I have been to Yosemite several years ago and fell in love with the place, hopefully going back early next year. This is one place on the list of things to see, just beautiful, amazing colours, excellent d.o.f, really well captured, all the best,
Cheers Rick :)
What a wonderful moody photo. I love the dark reflection and saturated sky. The rock formation is stunning and standsout so well in the late light.

Nice perspective on Mono Lake, Greg. Nicely composed with that reflection. But the low light really gives this amazing "punch."
