[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is from the refuge.This Egret kept bothering the Heron by getting to close. Then the Heron would chases him away. This went on for about 20mins.

Hi Tom,

It is strange that the heron chases the larger bird but seems quite happy with the small birds close to it. Probably no competition for the food that he is looking for. Nice action, composition and story telling image.

Cute shot...it was the big guys vs the pipers..I have always enjoyed these sea birds...nice that they come inland for you a ways..Very good Tom. Hope your summer isn't too hot..well I know it has been but I hear cooler coming!
