A superb composition!
The three wedge-shapes of the slopes, the spruces and the riot of wild flowers are combined to make this a very attractive view, a joy to see!
The Lupins, Indian Paint Brushes, Daisies and the yellow flowers make a fantastic palate of colours.
Thanks and it's nice to see you back on TN!

Impressive shot with great colors and the greenery all around! The way of capturing the picture is very interesting, keeping the flowers diagonal to the frame. Their colors are so natural and attractive. This all makes this picture very eye-catching. The sharpness and POV are just wonderful. Great composition!
thanks and regards,

I love the contrast between the angry sky and the joyful flowers.
I love the zig zag lines created by the flowers.
Everything is super sharp, and the composition is splendid.
Another shot from "the lady" and from Rainier (i hope i'm allowed to use the term, too) and, for sure, another treat!
When you posted your other shot and again now after this one, i thought really well and searched through my shots to see if there's actually one comparable with the wild flowers on this mountain...and you are right: there isn't. I have some very nice shots but with one kind of wildflower dominant on a hillside...not such an abundance of species.
So you see now why i like to see such shots from you: not only do they feast my eyes through their composition and technique, but they also make me think, research and, ultimately, make me want to start saving for a visit, too :))
Great post from this great place!
Bravo and TFS
PS: i've just read of a new release from Adobe - CR 5.5. Didn't look too carefully since it doesn't really concern me, but it might help you with your 500D.
Hello Evelynn ,
Your country is so very beautiful, today I came to know when I saw your pictures.
Beauty in this picture is enhanced only because of the very strong composition.
After seeing your pictures I have no choice but to admire them.
Hope you will not mind,I adding you as my favorite photographer.
You're not going to like this but this photo aint sharp. Even with a gail force wind, the aperture and shutter speed would have given some sharpness in the FG when properly focus. Leaving the sharpness behind, the almost square composition is very beautiful and allowed for a wonderful placement of both trees. The diagonal line of the didge gave the photo a good dynamic feel. I also like the contrast between the colorful flowers and dark sky.
