[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another shot of our backyard neighbor the fox.

Yesterday when I went up to check the mail around 1:PM I work from home one of my neighbors was driving by and asked if I had seen any foxes recently. When I told her I had not only seen but photographed him, she said that he probably had rabies.

"How can you know that," I queried. She said foxes are nocturnal and if they come out during the day they must have rabies.

Personally I think it's rubbish, but thought maybe someone on TL might know something about foxes...

Note: All of these shots are real and I can supply original Camera RAW files if anyone is still in doubt.

Hello Michael,
You are very fortunate to be able to get so many shots of Red Foxes. I haven't seen one for quite some time, and when I do, it's only a quick glimpse and their gone.
I like the way you composed this shot, giving us a good view of the outlying land in which he lives. Great capture!!

hello Michael

for this kind of photos in French we say photo prise sur le vif ,
excellent photo with fine POV and framing, fine focus of the fox,
and i love its eye-contact with you, TFS

Hi Micheal still not sure that this is not a cut and paste job which is why it was reportrd 1st time it was posted. the fox looks too small in comparision to the fallen leaves and other plants growing in the background.
let me know if I am wrong yours Robert
