hello Tom

another of your great Bald Eagle in-flight photos, fine POV showing the eagle
by his back and in the same time we see his head (eye & beak), superbly focused
with excellent sharpness and details, i love the way the bakcground it is blurred
with showing details, we can see the Bald Eagle's habitat on the image, TFS

Hi Tom,
very nice to see this magnificent bird in flight with an interesting back ground as most of my shots of eagles in flight only have a blue or grey sky background.I like the mood of this photo and the light it has overall and if there is one thing that I would to see,it would be the bird a little closer in for added detail.A wonderful subject and well photoed. Thanks Tom for giving us this image to view.

Hi Tom,
I'm not sure I understand what we see. Why is the tail blue?
I'm puzzled.

Hi Tom,
My eye was really caught by the blue colored tail. When I saw the thumbail I thought: what the heck.... But when I opened the photo I realized it is the natural light that changed the white tail to this blue color. It certainly made the photo more special. The inflight moment is beautifully captured, and the soft BG helps to break the subject from it.
TFS,
Niek
