Cooper's Hawk (Accipiter cooperii)

After a long hiatus from TN I have finally decided to return, I really enjoy posting my pictures here and view all other amazing pictures from everybody, I'm happy to be back

Their breeding range extends from southern Canada to northern Mexico. They are generally distributed more to the South than the other North American Accipiters, the Sharp-shinned Hawk and the Northern Goshawk. Birds from most of the Canadian and northern-U.S.-range migrate in winter, and some Cooper's Hawks winter as far south as Panama). The Cooper's Hawk prefers to nest in wooded areas adjacent to wide open fields that provide hunting opportunities along their edges

Hello Everton, it's great having you back on TN
A good close-up of this fine looking Cooper's Hawk. Looks like your were able to get right up on top of him in order to capture this particular shot.
I like the expresion on his face and the fine eye detail. Very nice..looking forward to more photos from you in the future. TFS.

Hi Everton

Nice pose and good colours here. Nice to see you back - how have you been?

Best wishes

Difícil trabajo y más desde ese complicado ángulo del que disparaste. A pesar de escaparse el foco a la zona de la cabeza del ave, bastante buena profundidad de campo.
Saludos Everton: Josep Ignasi.
