Hi Paul, neat title you have given this image upload and I find myself drawn to those eyes again and again.I like amphibians and used to see so many when I was younger back in the 60's and 70's but anymore they just do not seem to be plentiful anymore. This little animal has great looking colour and your focus shows great detail where it counts. Those golden eyes ringed in scarlet are so striking and your expert handling of your camera puts across the very beauty this little creature has.Nature sure is a wonder and as long as people like you and myself and all the others here on TN are here to show what there is in our wonderful world, things may have a chance to continue on as they always have.People need to see images as wonderful as this one in order to be aware of the natural world and with awareness comes understanding and perhaps a hope that life with be conserved and protected. That is one of the things we do here on TN,create awareness and you kind sir do it better than most. Thanks for sharing the sweet little froggy with us.

Bob

Hi Paul,
It is rare to see around pictures close to the quality of this one.Well done!
This Classical portrait is good enough to be published on the cover of "National Geographic " magazine! In the same time is sad to see those wonderful creatures disappearing from the face of our planet!
Fantastic Dept of field and and razor sharp focus on the eyes.Simple, clean background and well composed frame.FANTASTIC!Many of us can learn from the beauty of the simplicity here! How can I give you 4 points!!!
Best Regards,
George Veltchev

Hello Paul,
as usual a very high quality picture from you of your beloved frogs. I still remember the "cigar smoking frog", it was one of the best picture on TN.
You show us a beautiful frog in very nice pose and POV.
Perfect exposure with lovely natural colours.
Great work, mf.
