Lorquins Admiral

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Limenitis lorquini or Lorquin's Admiral. I saw this one at Red's Meadow about a half mile from Devil's Postpile near Mammoth Mountain, California. The abundance of rain and snow in California this year has given us more wildflowers than I have ever seen and there were butterflies everywhere. |

Hello Kevin,
This is a great shot. Wonderful colours. I like it very much. Well done and thank you for posting it.

Beautiful colors on the butterfly. The background is complimentary but not overpowering.
Thanks!
Hello Kevin
Great POV. The colours aren't as sharp as they could be which is a shame as this is a lovely image. I have uploaded a workshop.

Very beautiful indeed!
A bit soft on focus, but we can see the beauty of this butterfly!
Very good colors too!
