I like how you got him singing. The composition is very good here with the bird up high and over to the right just a bit. Great photo!

Hi Lotti,
very nice and lively fellow indeed. And you caught it well, composition and light is excellent. To me, it looks like a Long-billed marsh wren, Telmatodytes (=Cistothorus) palustris (striped tail up, streaks under the eye, long beak). They are known to compete for reproductive success by destroying the eggs of congeneric neighbors! I have worked with Reed buntings which increase their reproductive success by mating with different partners. Man cannot learn much from these birds :-)
