What a superb species of hairstreak, even more striking by the fact that it is fresh and well captured with excellent sharpness and natural colours from an ideal lateral POV. The yellow OOF flowery BG sets it off well too in this well composed image.

Nice constrast with a clear and beatiful BG, I like a lot the high level of red in the wings, we have here some Lycaenidaes very similar with this, but the red-banded are less red and more thin.
