Diptera: Scathophagidae

These lovely creatures propagate in animal feces. They are quite attractive flies, but they have some very filthy habitations. I wondered while taking his photo, if he could actually visulize my presence with his multifaceted large hemispherical eyes?

Hello Mike,
What you can see of the fly is awesome. The detail is super fine and the tannish color is very attractive.
The noise in the BG can easily be removed, check WS.
Not wanting to sound too critical, but the blurred white ball in the front seems to distract from the beautiful image of the fly.
