i found this nest of mourning doves in a pine tree by our friends house.Mourning doves are plump-bodied and long-tailed, with short legs, small bill, and a head that looks particularly small in comparison to the body their colors are delicate brown to buffy-tan overall, with black spots on the wings and black-bordered white tips to the tail feathers.

Hello Kristina,
Nice shot of this little Mourning dove, this is the first baby dove I have ever seen. I used to raise pigeons years ago and their babies look very similar.
