Cholla (Teddy Bear Cacti)

Phenomenally "defensive" cactus species. Ashame it was not earlier in the season when the Cholla was in ful bloom (note the dried up blossom buds).

Hello Mike,
A simply stunning image filled with lots of detail and beautiful coloration. Living here in Ohio I seldom see cactus plants,so this is a real treat. Whenever Rosie and I take a trip out west these are always on our list to view. Love the framing and attractive lighting. Superb work!!

fantastically balanced exposition with amazing subtle color gamut indeed Mike. I personally would move the subject slightly of center to please the rule of third, but ...hey..the rules are here to be broken! Well done once again!
