Hello Michael,
Very nice photo of this Red-shouldered Hawk, buteo lineatus, I think. Good sharpness, beautiful natural colours, but most of all I like the composition.

Great shot Michael!!
A beautriful bird and shown in it's natural habitat. Good focus with vivid, yet natural colors. Your definitely right about the way it's plumage blends in so nicely with the tree bark. Well done!!
