Common Buckeye Butterfly
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|this is a Common Buckeye (Junonia coenia). my 2nd butterfly-post from this country, USA. well, can't say whether it was a male or female. they say, females are larger than males and "have more rounded forewings".|
i found this butterfly in my 'treasure island'.. almost 15 hours back :)
it was a stormy morning. as per weather forecast, scope of tornado was there. previous night's crazy storm had gone wild in this morning. it was really scary. but i walked for half-n-hour to reach my treasure island.. it was thrilling.. an another mood of Nature.. an another appearance of my 'treasure island' :)
there were two of them. posting one more pic of this butterfly in the WS.
