Hello Ori,
It's a pleasure to have you here in the States, I hope you have a pleasant stay. I love your image of this beautiful Saguaro Cactus with what appears to be a type of Flicker on it. My guess is it's a Gilded Flicker, since they are very common in the Phoenix area.
The bird actually helps us get a sence of how huge these cacti are. I vividly remember viewing my first Saguaro, and to be truthful, it was in Phoenix while I was visiting my daughter. I was surprised to know that they are a protected plant and you could face a stiff fine for digging one up.
