Family Emberizidae; Spizella passerina (Chipping Sparrow).

During a early morning walk, this small bird was flitting in the bushes and I was able to get a few shots through the tiny openings in the brush.

Hello Michael,

This species may be of the most annoying birds on the planet with their relentless chirping(chipping) and beaking off as soon as you step towards their corner of the backyard.

Easy to approach but never easy to photograph with their preference to remain partially obscured within shrubby cover ... nevertheless, you've done very well with this fine profile image and in nice light showing true colors and with good results in threading the focus needle. Well done!
