[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Family Charadriidae, Charadrius vociferous (Killdeer)

These delightful birds blend in perfectly with their environment. They characteristically fake a broken wing act as they try to lead you away from their nests. The nest is built on the ground with only a shallow depression and a few carefully place fine sticks. The are difficult to find and the best way to detect where they are is to set and observe the killdeer return to set the nest. They have unusually large eyes for their small size.

Dear Mike,
Browsing through your portfolio, I am delighted to discover this bird, a perfect candidate for my theme "camouflage"

You did very well balancing focus and exposure under these difficult circumstances .

Thanks for sharing.
Warm greetings
