Here is my try-out for crossing the 3000 points barrier! I need at least 32 points BUT ONLY IF DESERVED !!! Last time when I crossed 2000 it was same exact story and it exceeded my expectations ending in 54 points so far.

Mark Twain once said: "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog."
The north-american lynx (Lynx rufus), a lesser cat but no lesser passionate predator, he is one of the most active killers on the North American continent, atacking anything from large grasshoppers to younger deer, he is surpassed only by the cougar on his habitat. He is not a scavenger or too oportunistic like the wolf nor omnivourous, eating vegetals too, like the bears, he is strictly a carnivourous creature that nine out of ten or more he eats only what he kills.
Photo taken in June 2005 at the Living Desert Preserve, along with his other partner, they are part of the conservation and observation projects in San Jacinto and Santa Rosa National Monument.

I'm going to help you get to 3000 because this is a fine shot you have taken. The FOV, focus, sharpness are all good. The image really has a 3d feel to it. Great shot. Good luck getting to 3000!
Regards,
Wes

I reach the 2076 mark for you Radu. I love these North-American lynx that you have shown us. I think he is a beautiful animal, but you can see the "fight in the cat" here. Not quite as cuddly as my puss at home. Wonderful portrait, I love it, thank you.

You've picked a good one to try to get you to 3000 points Radu! The mean look in the eyes with the barred teeth sure show this is no pussycat to pet without gloves. Nice point of view with great focus and exposure. I like the crop to make it a real portrait. Well worth my 2 points!

Lovely capture, Radu. I am just back from my vacation and have lots of photos to check out and edit. I will supply a proper critique later my friend.

Love the small cats... but you already know that. Congrats on the 3000 points.
