Hello Mike,
A great shot of this male House Sparrow. I remember the first one I photographed up close like this, I realized probably for the first time how pretty they actually are. Overall the image of the sparrow is excellent, but I'm sure you know if the bright red post wasn't in the frame it would be even better. Sometimes you have no choice in the matter and have to take what is available at the time.
I'm heading back up to the Magee Marsh in the morning for another two days of photographing birds. Hope to see more from you later.
