[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
For Dr Subhash Ranjan
A small bird in a big world.

While I have many close in images of the Goldfinch, I thought I would show it in its environmental approach. This was taken in a community garden and close to the nearest sunflower patch. The goldfinch loves sunflower seeds. At a certain time of the year, I know just where to look for them, hence my dozens of images. Thanks for looking. I'll catch up on my crits later as it is very busy here this time of year...so later tonight.
Bob

Hello Bob,
Great to see your up and at it again. Nice to see this pretty little male Goldfinch in it's natural habitat. You can see from it's posture and head position that it has it's eyes focused on the sunflower patch you talked about.
We have these beautiful finches coming to our feeders almost daily. They already have their winter plumage, so it's actually hard to tell the males apart from the females.
Hope all is well and wish you a wonderful and prosperous "Holiday Season".
God Bless,
Ron

Hello Bob Sir,
I am indeed most touched and honored with you dedicating the environmental photograph of this bird. The bird shows great expressions and makes us feel proud of me knowing you :)
Warmest regards Subhash Ranjan

Hi Bob,

The location of the bird in the frame is an eye catcher. The point of view is showing the details of the Goldfinch. The good luminmosity is enhancing the beauty of the colours. Have a nice day.

Pierre
