On a frozen lake..
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|You can't see green, here, in winter.. but if you're aware of certain places, you still can see birds.|
Winter, in New England, is extremely monotonous to anyone coming from a warmer and brighter part of the globe..
Anyway, here is a picture of Hager Pond.. now a days. It's so hard for the birds and animals, out there, facing it in real! But while together, you can make any disaster look like a joke! Touch wood, the birds at Hager Pond are doing well, so far. God bless them!
Thanks for viewing. Happy to share! :)

What a colorful flock of mallards you have found, appears they've all grouped up during this extreme cold we've been facing. I think the snow always makes their colors seem to stand out, which is quite evident in this photo. Their bright orange feet catch your eye immediately and so does the vivid green heads of the drakes.
Focus is sharp throughout entire frame and you've done a good job on exposure. Appears your 70D and Tamron lens is working out just fine for you.
Knowing that you guys have had a much harder winter then we've had so far, I'm sure Hager Pond is one big ice cube at the moment:) TFS. and stay warm!!
