[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was out looking for insects to photograph and unexpectedly came upon this pretty gray treefrog clinging to a bush. It never moved an inch as I knelt down and took it's picture.

Gray treefrogs are nocturnal and spend the daylight hours clinging to trees or shrubs. This is the first time I had ever seen one out in the day time.

This particular species of treefrog is fairly large, almost two inches in length. It can be a solid green, gray, or brown in color or have blotches on it's back. Depending on the temperature or what they rest on, they can quickly change their color.

Hi Ron,not easy to find but easy to take,perfect capture of this treefrog,a genus of animals common in my country too,i like the scenery that give us the exact idea of where they lives during the day,impressive sharpness despite eht difficult location and light! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

I prefer such diagonal light which shows details very well. Very nice BG and well placed this beautiful colored Tree Frog. You know, if I don't get well BG, I don't 'Click'.
