[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was up at Magee Marsh today and found this beautiful Wood Thrush posing on a stump just waiting for someone to take its picture.

The Wood Thrush is the biggest and most spotted of the thrush family. It can be found throughout the eastern U.S. forested regions.

This is a ground foraging bird, therefore keep your eyes focused on the forest floor when looking for them. Unfortunately the Wood Thrush has been declining in numbers in recent years.

Great picture. The warm colors and blurry background make a great image. Thanks. Franco

Ciao Ron, great capture of lovely bird in nice pose, wonderful natural colors, fine details and splendid sharpness, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Hello Ron,
Beautiful coloured Thrush. Well captured. Like its POV; perfect low POV.
But W/B doesn't look perfect to me. I haven't seen this bird in wild, so checked so many pictures googleing website and here breast portion of the bird doesn't look perfect WHITE but bit GREENISH.
Otherwise beautiful natural habitat picture.
Thanks and have a nice Week,

Hi Ron,

A superb capture & presentation. The details, the sharpness and a lovely BG makes the picture stand out.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful pic.

Hi Ron,
Beautiful image with perfect sharpness and composition. Colours are good in my opinion, it's very hard to find the best balance in the shady forest. Congrats for the lovely photo.
Kind regards from Ireland, László

Hello Ron

Excellent portrait of the Wood Thrush, a bird that I would love to photograph
but not having a zoom lens it is becoming difficult to me, very fine POV
at the level of the subject, great focus, sharpness, and details, TFS
