[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of the strangest sights I have encountered while taking photographs of birds is this flock (only partially seen in this image) of black vultures. Click on "large version" on the left to see a large copy of this.

I had traveled to Conowigo Dam on the Susquehana River to photograph eagles fishing (wrong time of year - they were few and far between)and was greeted by this bizarre group of black vultures who apparently also find food there. They are so common in this spot that motorists are warned not to leave their cars next to them as they apparently attack the cars.

They reminded me of a group of English Barristers in black capes and wigs.
