[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As I was walking back to my car from the inner sanctuary of the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge I noticed this pair of Sandhill Cranes fly over my position and cross over the Slough to the island across from me. I knew that the image was not going to be "in color", but I thought that it would be a good silhouette of these two flying through the clouds.
I took this image with my old 400mm F 5.6 Sigma on manual focus.
Hope you like it...

Hello Steven,
This is an interesting picture. The silhouettes of birds and the dark clouds create quite exceptional whole. It has great mood.
WELL DONE!

Hi Steven,

Great shot. I like the darkness of the entire photo.

TFS,
Niek

Hi Steven,
I didn't know you were over here on TN as well as TE. This is a really nice image, excellent crisp detail on the Cranes and the composition is spot-on. Perfectly silhouetted against the brightest part of the sky, a really nice shot.
Best regards,
Adrian

Beautifull shot on silouhette.
Impressive background.
Andrea
